Morbidly Hilarious

Bragg, G. (2011) How They Croaked. New York, NY: Walker Books for Young Readers
Everyone Dies, even famous people.  Some of them go rather spectacularly.  That is the kind of information you can find in this book.  Bragg talks about 19 well known individuals, telling the tale their lives, their contributions and their often horrible deaths.
There is a warning in the Introduction that states “If you do not have the guts for gore, do not read this book”.  It is a well spoken warning.  This book is not for the easily disgusted.  If however you have a curious mind, a strong stomach, and a sense of humor – I highly recommend this book.  It was very informative, dispelling the myths that I held true about many people.  It was also very funny, in a morbid way.
