It's a Book.

Smith, Lane. (2010) It’s a Book. New York, NY: Roaring Brook Press
A don key joins a monkey for a sit.  The monkey is reading a book, while the donkey has a laptop.  The donkey starts asking lots of inane questions about the uses of the book, while the monkey begins to get irritated.  Finally he gives the donkey the book to see.  After that, the donkey doesn’t want to give it back.
The monkey lives the frustration many of us have felt from those who can’t fathom the use of a book.  While the book is written at a child’s level, it will probably mean much more to an adult.  It may be just a book, but it’s a great book.
