Baby Mouse returns

In my post of 10 graphic novels I reviewed a Babymouse book.  She's back again!  You just can't stop this mouse!

Babymouse loves to skate.  So when a professional skating coach asks to coach her, Babymouse jumps at the chance.  It may wind up being more than she bargained for though. She now has to get up early, practice twice a day, skip time with friends, and worst of all- Give up cupcakes!
I’ve read another Babymouse book before and I thought this one was much better than the last.  It had better humor and a storyline that made more sense.  It will definitely entertain young readers looking for a graphic novel.

so Noisy. (The Knife of Never Letting Go)

He will be in about a month.   In Prentisstown, when you turn 13 you are officially considered a man.   That and his dog that won’t stop talking is what he’s thinking about while he’s out in the swamp looking for apples.   In the new world everything talks, and everyone has Noise.   The Noise is people’s thoughts put out for everyone else to hear.   It’s just how it is.   It can get pretty deafening in town.   Todd is also the last boy in town.   There are no other children and no women either, just 100+ men.    So it’s pretty startling when he comes across a pocket of silence.   When he approaches, whatever it is runs off. She Kicks Butts and Eats Nuts!
